About Us
Meet Team 5626, The Nu-Matic Ninjas!
We are a 6th year First Robotics team from Central High School in Norwood Young America, Minnesota. We have 15 members, 11 male and 4 female, lead by our wonderful three mentors and two alumni. This year the team is very excited about the new season and the growth of the program.
Our first year's accomplishments as a rookie team include; getting 4th at regional, earning the opportunity to compete at the state competition in Minneapolis, and earning the judges award.
Last year, made a robot named Kooper to participate in last year's game, Deep Space. It was able to place hatches on openings of a cargo ship, and can climb to the third level step which is 19" tall!
This year is the 6th year of our team. The name theme is titled Infinite Recharge. At this time we don't know much about the game but we will learn more at Robotics Kickoff on January 4th, 2020!
At Central High School, robotics is one of the only STEM activities, and we are very excited to spread our passion for it to our rural community. We do this by showcasing our robot in parades, our school talent shows, and in front of the STEM class.
